Chicken Fried Rice Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked and diced chicken
- 4 cups cooked rice (preferably left over rice)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, peas, corn)
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the onions, garlic and green onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the mixed vegetables and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken, soy sauce, oyster sauce, white pepper powder, sesame oil and salt. Stir well to combine.
- Add the cooked rice and toss gently to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot as a main course or side dish.
