  • 4-5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp amchur powder (dry mango powder)
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh methi leaves (optional)


  1. In a bowl, mix together the corn starch, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, chaat masala, salt and mix well.
  2. Add the sliced potatoes and toss to coat evenly with the spice mixture.
  3. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the coated potatoes and fry for 4-5 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from heat and drain on a paper towel to remove any excess oil.
