Instant Spongy Idli Recipe (no soaking-no fermentation) | How to make Spongy Idly

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of idli rice
  • 1 cup of urad dal (split black lentils)

  6. Once the idlis are cooked, remove them from the steamer and let them cool for a few minutes before removing them from the idli plates.
  7. Serve the instant spongy idlis hot with sambar or chutney.
