  • 1 cup of paneer cubes
  • 1/2 cup of bell peppers (capsicum) cubed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of red chili powder
  • 1 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1 tsp of garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp of chopped cilantro (optional)
  • 1 tsp of kasoori methi (optional)


  1. Heat oil in a kadai and add the chopped onions. Sauté until they turn translucent.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté until they become mushy.
  4. Add the red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Stir well.
  5. Add the cubed bell peppers and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the cubed paneer and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add 1/4 cup of water and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes or until the gravy thickens.
  8. Add kasoori methi (if using) and stir well.
  9. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
