Paneer Fried Rice is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the taste of Chinese style fried rice with the richness of paneer (cottage cheese). It is a popular dish that can be enjoyed as a main course or as a side dish.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup diced paneer
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup diced carrots
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup peas
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp red chili sauce
- 1 tsp green chili paste
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped spring onions (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for a few seconds.
- Add diced onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add diced carrots, bell peppers, and peas and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Add diced paneer and sauté for a minute or two.
- Add soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili paste and salt to taste. Mix well.
- Add cooked rice and mix gently.
- Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions (if using) and serve hot.
Note: You can add or substitute vegetables of your choice to make it more personalized. You can also add some eggs to make it more filling.
