Paneer Fried Rice Recipe | Chinese Style Fried Rice | Cottage Cheese Fried Rice

Paneer Fried Rice is a delicious and flavorful dish that combines the taste of Chinese style fried rice with the richness of paneer (cottage cheese). It is a popular dish that can be enjoyed as a main course or as a side dish.


  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup diced paneer
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced carrots
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red chili sauce
  • 1 tsp green chili paste
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped spring onions (optional)


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for a few seconds.
  2. Add diced onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
  3. Add diced carrots, bell peppers, and peas and sauté for a few more minutes.
  4. Add diced paneer and sauté for a minute or two.
  5. Add soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili paste and salt to taste. Mix well.
  6. Add cooked rice and mix gently.
  7. Cook for a few more minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Garnish with chopped spring onions (if using) and serve hot.

Note: You can add or substitute vegetables of your choice to make it more personalized. You can also add some eggs to make it more filling.
