Ingredients:
- 2 raw bananas, peeled and cut into small cubes
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1 tsp chana dal
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal. Once they start to splutter, add the green chilies and ginger-garlic paste.
- Add the onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
- Add the raw banana cubes and stir well.
- Add the red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala powder. Stir well.
- Add enough water to cover the vegetables and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the curry simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the raw bananas are cooked through.
- Season the curry with salt to taste and add 2 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve the Raw Banana Onion Fry Curry as a side dish with rice or roti.
