Rajgira ladoo all time favourite

Rajgira Ladoo is a popular sweet treat made from rajgira flour (amaranth flour), ghee, sugar, and nuts. These round balls are typically enjoyed during religious festivals or as a sweet snack. Here is a basic recipe for making Rajgira Ladoo:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rajgira flour
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions:

  1. In a pan, heat ghee and add rajgira flour. Roast the flour on low flame, stirring continuously until it turns golden brown.
  2. Add powdered sugar and cardamom powder to the roasted rajgira flour and mix well.
  3. Turn off the heat and add chopped nuts. Mix well.
  4. Take small portions of the mixture and roll into small balls (ladoo).
  5. Allow the ladoos to cool completely and then store in an airtight container.

Note: You can adjust the amount of sugar to suit your taste, also you can add some dry fruits powder or saffron strands for added flavor.
