Gajar Mattar Ki Sabji

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, and let them crackle.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  5. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it turns mushy.
  6. Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder,
  7. and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute. 7. Add the grated carrots, green peas and mix well.
  8. Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
