Mushroom gajar muli sabzi

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup grated radishes
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water


  1. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
  2. Add ginger and garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  3. Add mushrooms, grated carrots, and grated radishes to the pan. Stir well.
  4. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir to mix.
  5. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and cover the pan with a lid.
  6. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  7. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to let any remaining water evaporate.
  8. Serve the Mushroom gajar muli sabzi as a side dish with roti or rice.
