Patta Gobhi ka Paratha (Cabbage Paratha)!!

To make Patta Gobhi Ka Paratha (Cabbage Paratha), you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage (patta gobhi)
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • Water as needed


  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped cabbage, whole wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Slowly add water as needed to form a dough.
  3. Knead the dough for a few minutes until it becomes smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each dough ball into a circle.
  6. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the rolled out paratha on the skillet.
  7. Cook the paratha for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  8. Brush the paratha with oil or ghee.
  9. Cook for an additional minute on each side.
  10. Remove from heat and serve warm with yogurt or chutney.

You can also add some chopped coriander leaves for added flavor. Enjoy!
